Frequently asked

3
  • What if I’m 26 or older?

The Jahreskarte Jugend is for everyone under 26, no enrolment needed. From 26 you pay the regular annual pass (€461 digital, €467 on a card) or a 31-day ticket (€65.20 digital, €75 on paper); over a full year the annual pass is far cheaper.

  • One ticket for everything?

Yes — single, daily, 31-day and annual tickets cover U-Bahn, tram, bus and S-Bahn within the city zone (Kernzone 100). No new validation when you change.

  • What if I forget to validate?

App tickets are valid as bought. A paper single ticket has to be stamped before the trip — riding without a valid ticket costs €135 on the spot, or €145 if you pay later (2026).
